Solar eclipse and our ancient wisdom

Rig Veda 5.40.5,5.40.9

“O Sun! When you are blocked by the one whom you gifted your own light (moon), then earth gets scared by sudden darkness”

Those who believed in Flat earth theory are teaching us about cosmology today. It was mentioned in our sacred text when other religions weren't even born.

But, at the same time, we should also do some introspection that even after having so much wisdom for past so many centuries, it is the western world which has achieved new milestones in space n cosmology. Why?

Because we have limited/restricted our religion to petty things. We have limit our religion to kitchen. There are pundits who are running thier shops by advising people what n what not to eat during eclipse! Even our mainstream media has went down to the same level. Not to blame media, as it is just the reflection of society.

When we feel proud in sending our kids to convent schools, when we feel proud seeing them working in MNC's, when we feel proud in copying western lifestyle blindly, what else can be expected.

We need to create education institutions who can imbibe indian values, wisdom in our young generation. But, first n foremost, it is the responsibility of every Indian parent/family to reveal ancient knowledge to our children. Instead of just pushing them to get a job, let them explore their lives, let them search about thier glorious past, let them interpret the wisdom which is lying in our holy books.

Otherwise, we will keep looking towards other countries for knowledge/technology transfer. Whether it is Aviation, Space, Defence, Medical, Wellness, or any other sector, we always look towards others. India can not become a global leader by copying others. We need to be self dependent.

We can not be leathargic about it. Mediocrity is a crime. If we are satisfied with a job, a 3bhk, an SUV, and calling ourselves successful, we are under big illusion. That life is successful which contributes for the country.

Each one of us need to dig our past, take out precious knowledge, make it easy n simple to understand and spread that knowledge with others. This will spark curiosity in our kids, this will build a sense of pride in them. A confident generation dares to try new things, an enlightened generation doesn't feel apologetic about it's rituals.

Time has come to realize our true potential and work to the best of our ability to bring back the golden era for our "भारत माता" !!
